As the senior graphic designer at Dominican University, I created a new visual branding approach using the existing “portal” logo.
Using the same shape, but inverted as a shield at various angles, I inforced a consistant visual approach to all of the materials printed by the university, including such things as the campus map, recruiting brochures, newspaper and bus advertising, course schedules, and on-campus posters.
The approach allowed for a drastically increased awareness of the institution resulting in a greater number of applications for study as well as increased attendance at public functions.
Additionally, I designed the campus map and the university’s official flag.
